Where to meet art, culture and creativity
The international art fair returns from June 19th to 22nd to celebrate 20 years of powering artistic discovery and being a trusted force in the emerging contemporary market. The fair moves to a new, central Messeplatz location to present over 70 galleries from 29 countries from across the globe.
From 16–22 June 2025, Liste Art Fair Basel will celebrate its 30th edition. What began in 1996 as a bold initiative by young gallerists has evolved into the leading international fair for contemporary art of a new generation. As in previous years, Liste 2025 will become a central meeting point for the international art world.
Beyond mere chronology and style histories, the exhibition The World of Tomorrow Will Have Been Another Present at traces narratives in the mumok collection of classical modernism that resonate to the present day. The departure point is a form of speculation firmly anchored in temporality—a temporality with circular tendencies.
Art Basel’s highly anticipated 2025 edition will bring together 289 leading galleries from 42 countries and territories, presenting an extraordinary array of works across all media—from painting and sculpture to photography and digital art. The show will feature an unparalleled lineup of artists, spanning early-twentieth-century Modern pioneers to groundbreaking contemporary talent. As the leading premier event of the global art market, Art Basel in Basel remains the ultimate destination for discovery and connection.

In her "Play Sculptures", for example, she deals with a forgotten typology of forms during the art-in-architecture movement of the post-war period, emphasizing the intertwined character of abstract sculpture, architecture and urban planning, aesthetics and society.
